Many thanks to our friends Maryam and Nancy and their team of dedicated volunteers from Beloved Yoga for creating a joyful Love Your Body Yoga Festival on June 17th, a perfect " kick off " to Virginia Yoga Week. Folks throughout the region came together to practice yoga, listen to music and raise funds for Cornerstones/ Southgate.
Throughout the week our member studios will be offering free, $5 dollar and karma classes to benefit those in need. Featured charities include YoKid, The Carpenter's Shelter and Odanadi.
A Summer Solstice Celebration on June 21st, The International Day of Yoga. Free Yoga In the Fresh Air and The Third Thursday Concert on the Green presented by River's Edge Yoga, Be Well Virginia and The Old Town North Community Partnership begins on June 21st.
